It’s rich and creamy, easy to whip up, and is the perfect way to finish your favorite cakes and cupcakes!
This recipe tops 12 cupcakes or a cake.

226g (1 cup) unselted butter, to room temperature
1 pinch of salt
375g (3 cups) powdered sugar
3 Tbsp whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Using an electric mixer, beat butter until creamy. Add salt and stir to combine.
2. Gradually, add powdered sugar; beat after each addition to completely mix.
3. With mixer on medium-low speed, add the whipping cream, one tablespoon at a time. Beat until all ingredients are well incorporated, then gradually increase speed to high, and beat for about 30 seconds. Add vanilla extract and stir well.
4. Pipe frosting over cooled cupcakes or over your favourite cake.
Note: This frosting will be fine at room temperature for two days or refrigerated for about a week.
