Cherry Clafoutis

Cherry Clafoutis

Cherry Clafoutis is an easy and delicious French dessert consisting of fresh sweet cherries suspended in a pancake-like batter. 


Ingredients;

Serves 6-8

  • 2 large eggs

  • 70g (1/2 cup) flour 

  • 3 Tbsp sugar 

  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) almond milk or regular milk and add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 300g (11 oz)  cherries

  • butter for the tart pan




Method


1. Preheat oven to180 °C (350°F). Generously coat a tart pan (8 inch - 20cm) with butter. 

​2. In  bowl, whisk the eggs and flour together. Add the sugar. Gradually add the milk.

​3. Pour the batter into the tart pan. Wash the cherries and arrange them in the pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden-brown.
