Chocolate-Hazelnut Peach Tart

This is a lovely creamy french homestyle soup, that's rich, creamy and ultra-smooth.


Serves 4

  • 500g potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 4 slices smoked bacon

  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed

  • 1 onion, sliced

  • 2-3 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1 litre vegetable stock

  • 2 chicken bouillon cube

  • 200 ml Crème fraîche

  • parsley chopped

  • Salt to taste

  • fresh pepper


​​​1. Heat the olive oil into a saucepan, over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and bacon; cook for 5 minutes or until tender, stirring frequently.

2. Add the potatoes, chicken, bouillon cubes, vegetables stock, salt and fresh pepper. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes, until tender.

3. Add Crème fraîche stirring with a wooden spoon. Remove from the heat and add chopped parsley.

4. Spoon into four large warmed bowls and serve with bacon.
