Spring has always been one of the most beautiful seasons. Birds are singing, trees are blooming, and flowers are blooming, brightening our days with scent and color. Spring is an amazing season to explore the Hanseatic city, Hamburg.
Spring in Hamburg is pure joy – the scenery is vivid and colorful, there are no big crowds, and you can feel the vibrance and happiness this season brings.

White and purple crocuses, and Hearty daffodils are spread like a carpet in the park.

Vibrant explosion of cherry blossom
There's a vibrant explosion of cherry blossom color throughout the city, as if to celebrate the end of another gray winter. The best place to see trees in bloom is Alsterpark.

Cherry Trees are a gift from the Japanese community, and the celebration honors the special relationship between the two cultures.

Cherry blossom festival
Hamburg holds a cherry blossom festival every May to celebrate the strong ties between Japan and Germany. Hamburg's sister city is Osaka.

A glorious display of cherry blossoms attracts walkers, photographers, and picnickers.

Hamburgers love to be outdoors, so when the weather starts to improve, the city comes to life.
